The Monsoon Promise A South Indian Love Story The first rain of June had just kissed the streets of Bengaluru when Divya stepped out of the metro station. The scent of wet earth blended with the aroma of freshly brewed filter coffee from a nearby stall. People hurried past under umbrellas, but Divya paused for a moment, letting a few raindrops touch her face. She loved the rain. What she didn't love was being late.
